Slugs

Symptoms

Slugs cause severe damage on leafy plants like veggies, berries, hostas, and other ornamentals.  You will notice large holes and, unlike the other pests mentioned, slugs are very easy to spot.  Look for slugs in the morning hours or the early evening.  Slugs like damp environments and feed at night and cool cloudy days.

Treatment

Hand pick as many slugs as possible, then use our slug bait to deter any other unwanted guests.  Container plants are better than bedding plants since it is more difficult for the slug to get to their next meal.
